The Sicily Walls project was photographed at the Commenda Di San Calogero estate, founded in the early 1200’s. I was drawn to the many layers of peeling paint on the walls of the bath house. The fascinating blend of unusual colors would show through and change with the light from dawn until dusk. These photographs document the the unique blend of colors of aging paint.
